A squeezable tube sealing machine is a piece of equipment designed to seal or close soft tubes, typically made of materials like plastic or flexible packaging materials. VKPAK tube sealers handle products ranging from crazy glue to toothpaste that deliver a product to consumers in plastic or metal tubes. Capped, empty tubes are loaded into a filling machine with their other end open, ready for filling. The tube filler sealer pumps a measured dose of product into the tube and then seals the tube. A lot number or expiration date could be embossed in the seal if that option was purchased. Metal tubes are sealed by folding and then crimping the end of the tube, whereas thermoplastic tubes are heat sealed and then embossed.

There are many ways to seal the squeeze tube. Hot air sealing and ultrasonic sealing are commonly used for plastic tubes and laminated tubes, and folding sealing is commonly used for aluminum tubes and metal tubes.
VKPAK is a manufacturer of equipment for mass production packagers, providing semi-automatic and fully automatic sealing of plastic tubes, as well as fully automatic sealing of aluminum tubes. This page focuses on semi-automatic ultrasonic tube sealing machines. For fully automatic tube sealing machines, please see: Tube filling and sealing machines.
Tube Sealing Machines Work Process
1. Tube Loading or Tube Feeding
Fully automated sealers load tubes automatically through a feeding mechanism, whereas semi-automatic devices load them manually.
2. Tube Positioning
An important step for tubes marked with particular information is that the machine positions them appropriately for sealing.(Some models do not have this function)
3. Sealing
To form a hermetic seal, this sealing machine uses either heated jaws, induction, ultrasonics, or hot air.
4. Trim & Cooling
The bond is strengthened by removing excess material and then cooling the sealed part of the tube.
5. Batch Code
System integration allows for the printing of production information. (Optional)
6. Tube Discharging
To go to the next level, users of semi-automatic machines remove tubes, while those of fully-automatic machines use feeding systems.
